Leone is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology, with an expected graduation in Spring 2026. Leone is also an alumnus of the Mount Gretna School of Art. He has presented three solo exhibitions of work made en plein air, including two at Main Street Studios in Charlton, NY, and a windowfront Artist of the Month exhibition at Blick Art Materials in Chelsea, NY. Leone’s practice is an exploration of the genre of en plein air, an attempt to negotiate authorship between self, the environment, and conditions of chance that actively shape the work. Paintings emerge from encounters with specific sites and develop through an exchange between Leones decisions and the forces imposed by the environment.
