THE GMF RESIDENCY

We favor artists who are currently dedicated to their art, and intersect with nature as inspiration for their work. Our residence's should be able to work privately to give space to others, but will interact daily at our communal spaces. We would have an opening meal at the beginning of the week, meet every evening for dinner, and we would end the week with reading or open studio to share your work. We also hope that the artist would use this opportunity to explore the property for inspiration.

OUR MISSION

Graves Mill Farm, founded in 2020, supports nonprofits through hospitality. We have been environmentally, agriculturally, culturally, and community focused. Starting this residency represents an extension of our outreach into the arts.

Provide a writing sample in manuscript format; double-spaced, 10-12 point font, in a single PDF document, produced in the last several years. 4000 work minimum, 6000 maximum. Poets please provide several poems.

Provide 8-10 images of work created in the last two years Please include details about the images including the name, size, medium, year of creation, and any other relevant information. This information can be in a separate file.
