Jillian Eugenios
Jillian Eugenios is a journalist, filmmaker and writer. She received an MFA in creative writing from The New School with a focus on both fiction and nonfiction. She also holds an MA in journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. She is based in New York City and is working on her first novel.
Liza St. James
Liza St. James is a writer and translator from San Francisco. She is a contributing editor at BOMB, a senior editor of the literary annual NOON, and a writing fellow in the School of Art at Cooper Union. She lives in New York, where she was awarded a 2024 NYFA/NYSCA Artist Fellowship in Fiction.


Katy Scrivener
Katy Scrivener is an emerging artist based in Warrenton, Virginia. Her work explores the intersection of violence and grace in our interactions with the landscape and with each other.
Katy holds a BA in English Language and Literature. A voracious consumer of classic film and literature, she is always seeking ways to apply wisdom from the great stories to our modern dilemmas.

Guest Guide
We are a working ranch and we'll continue working while you stay. Our accomodations are all unique, charming and quirky. Here you can enjoy stunning night skies, breathtaking views, and scenic trails. Just be aware that you might also come across some local wildlife like snakes, ticks, or spiders. There is no charge to our guests. Since we are a tiny staff, we ask that you partner with us by helping us prepare for the next guests. By leaving everything just as you’ve found it, we are able to share this beautiful place with others.

We recommend that you turn wi-fi calling on with your carrier before you arrive

Spotty cell service in the area

Houses, barnyard and studios all have high speed fiber internet

Farmhouse has a TV that can be used for meetings or logging on to watch

What to Bring:

Flashlight or headlamp - country nights are dark

Comfortable walking shoes - 2,000 acres to explore and Shenandoah National Park is 2 miles away
